This was on the back of the $2 bill in 1918. Specifically the National Bank Note. This is one of the most sought after Banknotes by currency collectors because of the cool battleship. Unfortunately outside of currency collectors few know about this artwork. But the U.S. Treasury had some of the most talented engravers - this one was probably done by their best of the best.
